History
We helped pioneer the urban farming movement in New York City, wrote a text book on hydroponics, taught a world-renowned certification course, built an indoor farm at Institute of Culinary Education, helped design the first indoor hydroponic park and built the first farm inside a food pantry.
At Plate Linguistics we have a wide range of experience growing hydroponically and we are now using our wealth of knowledge to cultivate the best microgreens in southern California.

Farm In A Food Pantry
What an exciting concept!
We love working on projects that help minimize "food deserts" and building a farm in a food pantry seemed like an ideal project to fulfill that goal. We were contacted to build multiple indoor farms for food pantries in New York City and proud to say we also built the first. |
Teaching How To Farm |
One of our favorite things to do is teach others how to farm. We taught S.T.E.M. education at schools and at our R&D farm from K-12, wrote a text book on hydroponics and taught a certification course that found some of its graduates getting hired by world-leading vertical farming companies. |
Culinary Farm
We saw a lot of value in getting culinary students the freshest and rarest variety of produce possible to stimulate their creativity. So when asked to design and build an indoor farm at the renowned Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, of course we were beyond thrilled to do so.
